We got up early Saturday am to Tin Man Circle and watched Sharon's cousin, Carol & her husband Steve, launch their Jayhawk Hot Air Balloon. They've been doing this for over 20 years
and this was our first time to watch.
This view is from Seward Ave, near the airport. The balloons were moving at less than two miles an hour.
Addie and Beth gave this neat stone to Memaw and Epa for Grandparents Day. How nice to have them come to visit this weekend.
Memaw and Addie on Memaw's birthday. A yummy chocolate cake was prepared by Beth "from scratch," and enjoyed by all after a rather difficult candle "whiffing" ceremony.
